Alpintrekking around Mont Blanc

Region: The Alps > Alpes du Nord > Mont Blanc - Beaufortin
Country: France
Cosy passport migration on walking ways.
Highlight On this Trekking we experience the Montblanc and its satellite, the probably most enormous massif of the alps, from the most diverse perspectives: We start in the small mountain Village of La Fouly, walk in the Italian mountain climber village Courmayeur and orbit the most southern glaciers of the powerful massif and finish on the heights of Chamonix in order to admire again the monarch in its full splendour.

Description:
1 day: Journey to La Fouly (1594m), the pretty mountain village with French charm.
2 day: (5h) With the bus we drive to the last village before the border to Ferret (1720m). In regular upward gradient the walking way leads then to the Grand Col Ferret (2537m). The sight of the close granite giants, of the Grandes Jorasses (4208m) up to the Mont Dolent (3819m), is breath-taking - we also still enjoy it during the descent after Arnouva (1769m). With the bus we drive to Courmayeur (1230m).
3 day: (5h) On this morning the bus brings us in the Val Veny, which is directly under south wall of the Mont Blanc. We walk to the Cantine de la Visaille (1670m). Leisurely the walking way leads us to the Col de la Seigne (2516m) at the south foot of the Aiguille of the Glaciers (3816m). Now we are on French ground; here it goes, first flat then more steeply downward to the Ville of the Glaciers (1709m). From here we afford a transfer to Les Chapieux (1554m).
4 day: (5 h) today we walk over two pass: On a steep way we reach the Refuge de la Croix du Bonhomme, where we grant ourselves a small rest, and short time after the Col de la Croix du Bonhomme (2434m). A cross leads us to the Col du Bonhomme (2329m). Then we descend, in order to in-turn in La Balme (1706m) again. Following the track, we reach Nante Borra (1392m).
5 day: (4h) A taxi brings us to Bionassay (1314m). Along the glacier of the same name we walk to the Nid d'Aigle (2300m), the starting point of the normal route on the Mont Blanc. From here with the railway down to La Chalette, from here with the cable car to Les Houches and with the train to Chamonix (1037m).
6 day: (5h) On this way the Montblanc shows up again and its satellites from its most beautiful side. We win the height with the cable car to Plan Praz 1999m, where the way starts to Mont Roc 1363m. There ends the trek.
