High mountaineering week-end - Ringelspitz
A pure pleasure for the ascent of St Gall canton highest summit
Highlight This ascent involves us beyond Tamina valley for an exceptional adventure of pleasure offering stun panoramas. This course garantees sublimes moments of easy climbing in a preserved nature.
Saturday: Appointment at 14:00 at Reichenau-Tamins station. Transfer with the mountaineering school bus by Kunkel col, 1357 m (4,452 ft). From there, gone up towards Grossalp, 1833 m (6,014 ft) to Ringelspitz hut, 2000 m (6,562 ft). Rooms attribution, recall of roping up techniques, common diner, course explanation and presentation.
Ascent duration approx. 2 hours ½.
Sunday: Gone up by Berghüttli and Sandboden at the bottom of Ringelspitz, from where begins an air passage in easy climbing by Mittelgrätli or Schneerinne to reach the top. From Ringelspitz, 3248 m (10,656 ft), small abseil and descent by normal way or western side by Crap Mats towards the hut, then descent by Grossalp to the parking space and finally transfer on Tamins. Course ending and individual return back home.
Ascent duration approx. 4 hours 30, total walking duration approx. 9 to 10 hours.
Included in the price:
Night as well as half-board for stay duration, guide fees and expenses, gear loan. Transport costs are not included.
